Reflection:
When was the last time you updated your spiritual vision prescription? Oftentimes, we
miss what God has for us because we get stuck in what we see now and not what He is
trying to show us.
Expanded Focus:
There are seasons when God feels silent. Times when your prayers seem to echo without
an answer. Habakkuk knew that feeling well. In Habakkuk 2, he chooses to wait, not
passively, but attentively. He stations himself on the watchtower, expecting God to speak.
He waited even when the present circumstances made no sense. God’s response is
striking:
